Your tasks:
- Refer patients to physicians when symptoms indicative of systemic disorders, such as arthritis or diabetes, are observed in feet and legs
- Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
- Make and fit prosthetic appliances
- Perform administrative duties such ashiring employees, ordering supplies, and keeping records
- Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
Your skills:
- Using mathematics to solve problems
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design
- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
- Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
- Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
- Writing computer programs for various purposes
- Controlling operations of equipment or systems
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
